I made a complaint some few months ago now, and have still had no reply as yet. I have followed up my complaint several weeks ago, and I was told my complaint was being looked into.

My complaint concerned the purchase of some petrol, and when I came to pay I used by mistake the wrong credit card (my company credit card). Once the transaction had gone through I realised my error, and asked if I could cancel the first transaction and pay on my other credit card. I was told no, and the first transaction had to stand?
I really don’t see why I could not have had my first transaction cancelled or credited back for the necessary amount, and then used my other credit card?
It is now annoying that I have heard nothing back from Sainsbury’s.
I made my complaint by phone, and gave my full details, e mail, phone number, address.
