Dear Sir/Madam
I am writing to complain about a pair of sandals that I bought from my local superstore. Although I bought them in May, due to the weather she didn’t start wearing them immediately. Also she has other footwear that she wore intermittently. My daughter had only worn the sandals half a dozen times, before they started looking scruffy. The pink polka dot sandals although pretty and comfortable, soon started to wear around the buckle area. Very soon after they started freying around all the edges and the material around the holes peeled off, then the sole started thinning and the toes badly scuffed. They are now in the bottom of the cupboard as I had to buy a new pair of sandals (that are wearing much better).
Last year I bought her a pair of sandals that lasted the whole summer and was able to pass them on as she had grown out of them, even though there was still plenty of wear in them.
Yours faithfully
