ATTENTION: TALK TALK TELEPHONE COMPANY
I usually receive my telephone bill online to tell me how much my bill will
amount to, and when you are due to take the payment? I was shocked to
see you had planned to take this amount on the 4th April? Thatg is 10-14
days earlier than you usually take this amount from my account? My bill
is always paid on or after the 12th or 14th of each month.
I received this bill on the internet on the 2nd April, and I was shocked
as it was on a Saturday, and immediately telephoned to ask why this has
happened and to try to stop this payment. The man informed me that this
payment would be taken on the 4th April, and that you had done this to
many customers who were complaining about it? Well, I’m complaining too!
YOU HAD NO RIGHT TO DO THIS WITHOUT MY CONSENT! I receive my
state pension every Monday, and as you was about to take it on the 4th
April, i could not prevent this, due to it being the weekend. You gave me
virtually no notice which was totally out of order! My state pension amounts
to £156 a week, to which the Council take £100 by direct debit every
Monday! which leaves me £56, to which i take out £40 or £50 out of, and
leave what i can in the acount which is virtually zilch.
Had i not checked my emails on 2nd April, I would have been totally
unaware that you were taking this amount from my state pension??? Had
i gone out on the 4th, I would have automatically taken the above amount
and had you taken it later that day, i would have been in debt with my bank, hence OVERDRAWN, because the money would not have been there!
I would have been charged £25 overdraft charges! due to your sheer
I tried desperately to get this payment date altered, and after being passed
from department to department, which is nothing new, each man your
company employs, continued to ask me the same security questions, and
whilst i am at it, might I please suggest that you EMPLOY STAFF THAT
CAN SPEAK PLAIN ENGLISH AND CLEARLY AND THOSE WHO CAN
CONVERSE WITH ME? I continuously had to ask them to repeat what
they were saying, and they couldnt understand me? which made me even
more frustrated as i speak plain English.
I will not have your company put me in debt, because you decide to take
my telephone bill a few weeks earlier. You should have given earlier
notice. I hope I make myself perfectly clear? Will you pay the bank
charge if you withdraw the amount of my bill before the 7th of each month?
Of course you wouldnt, as the man only too happily reminded me! All
you care about is what conveniences you? and not your customers.
I am never, neither have i ever been in debt with my telephone bill, and
have had no trouble with you in the past? I speak very well of your
company, but PLEASE DONT PUT ME IN DEBT because you decide to
take your payment earlier because it suits you. Now I will tell you the

to take this payment AFTER THE 7TH OF THE MONTH! All these payments
come out of £158 which is my private pension, and i am lucky to gain £25
out of it, due to the fact that my payment should be £210 but the income
tax have decided i should pay £50 tax out of it!! Incidentally, whilst
complaining to you, i am also having problems with EDF Energy who
decided to contact my bank WITHOUT MY CONSENT to put my monthly
direct debit payment up by £10. I told them to leave my damned money
alone and to ask my permission before they decide to contact my bank
and take money out that i might not have left? The amount i pay covers
what i use and have never been in debt. Another company i have to
write to, in case they too, put my in debt whereby i will have to pay yet
another £25 overdraft charges??? I dont expect any company to think
they can take my money out of my account WITHOUT MY AUTHORITY?
What is it, with companies like you, that think you can just contact banks
and put up charges, take money out, without the customers consent?
You ask me first if you can take it please!!!
At my time of life, I do not fancy the thought of visiting ‘THE RED LIGHT
DISTRICT’ which is what I will have to consider if I am forced to pay £25
overdraft charges on a regular basis caused by you and EDF energy, etc.
PLEASE! DO NOT TAKE MY PAYMENT BEFORE THE 7TH OF ANY
MONTH! DO I MAKE MYSELF PERFECTLY CLEAR? Otherwise, I will
have no alternative but to cancel my contract with you.
I expect you to have the decency to reply to this extremely urgent matter,
no wonder your telephone lines are always busy, what with damned
automated robots online, I cant get sence out of anyone or any problem.

Excuse my bluntness, but its 7.25 am in the morning, and I havent been
to bed yet, as i have the local council on my back, insisting they know
what pensions i have coming in, who have messed me about for four
damned weeks, due to their incompetence? Who seem to know what
my state pension is and my disability amount WHILST I AM NOT
INFORMED??? I AM TOTALLY UNAWARE OF WHAT I RECEIVE, I
WONDER HOW THE COUNCIL KNOW BEFORE ME?? If this keeps up
I swear I will commit HIRI KIRI, So, I close my letter now, as I need some
Vodka to calm myself downnnnnnnnnnnn
