So here's the deal, you walk into the store, see a pile of TESCO own brand TVs (TECKNICA) with a massive 20% off all Tecknica TV's and decide to buy one there and then! That was me this morning, a massive choice of screen sizes but the set I wanted (three piles of them downstairs and upstairs in the main electrical section) wasn't displaying a marked down price, in fact there were no less than four tickets with a price on them, all at £239 for a 32" set. Now, given that every other model had a ticket on them clearly showing the previous selling price, and here were piles of sets only showing their normal labeling, and a big 20% off lable on the TV that I wanted to buy, would you expect to get 20% off the set? Do remember that every other set had a different colour price label, clearly showing the previous selling price (I thought this was a requirement now) shouldn't they have sold me the set at £239 less 20%? that's what the ticket implied and all of their other tickets!TESCO refused to sell me the set and told me that the ticket price was correct and already had the discount applied!!Very poor customer service, unhelpful head office staff and misleading point of sale material and they have the audacity to complain about ASDA's promotions as being misleading...TESCO are now so big they really don't care and stores are targeted which disuades the from doing anything they don't have to, event when they know that they are in the wrong. My advice would be stop supporting a company that doesn't care about its customers and sets out to mislead them in store!

Here is an offer you can’t refuse, TESCO did today at their Bar Hill Cambridge store. Even in store I have to check and check again...the only thing that keeps me returning to Tesco's is the proximity to my house and club card points! Perhaps if everyone complained about things llike this the monopoly that is Tesco's would have to pull there socks up.

I contantly have trouble with these sorts of things from Tesco’s…I’m disabled and pregnant as well as being a full time mother to a 14 month old, I try to shop online, however I’m sick of being given items that are due to go out of date the following day…..so I’m getting bargain basket products at full price!
